Veto

Veto Clothing was a collaborative mock clothing company made for a design class during my fall 2020 semester. The streetwear brand stood for “vetoing” modern injustices, such as discrimination against black voters. 100% of the “proceeds” benefited an organization called, Black Futures Lab, which helps register, engage, and activate black voters. The clothing designs were inspired by newspaper articles from the 1960 and 70s called, “The Student Voice”. The quotes, images, and newspaper clippings, were all taken directly from the articles. Our advertising campaign was held through Instagram.
